What HIT me? Living with Histamine Intolerance: A guide to diagnosis and management of HIT - A patient's point of view

Author: Genny Masterman

Paperback: 208 pages
Publisher: CreateSpace (May 1, 2013)
Language: English
ISBN-10: 1484008448
ISBN-13: 978-1484008447

2nd edition

The author is a journalist who suffers herself from histamine intolerance and intestinal fructose intolerance (fructose malabsorbtion). This book is the first on the subject of histamine intolerance to be published in the English language.

Over the course of 21 chapters, she describes her personal journey from the diagnosis through to daily life. How do I shop for food, what do I have to watch out for when I go out to eat, or how do I store particular kinds of food? Many facts and well-researched information about this topic make this book a really recommended read.

The author has also put together some recipes. These are suitable for people with histamine intolerance and mostly also for those with fructose malabsorbtion. The recipes have been tested personally by the author over a period of years.

Not only because Genny Masterman is the food intolerance network’s UK representative, but also because it’s just a great book: highly recommended!

Also available as kindle e-book version!
